Hi.
Can anyone help me out as the request to sponsor my family was rejected in the labour department twice.
I had given them prove of my salary by submitting the company paper showing my salary as QR 10000 and also that the company is providing me furnished family accomodation. I am an electrical engineer by profession and i am working in HBK contracting company.
Can anyone suggest me what to do now.

Hi there,,

1stly.. A very happy new year to u all and ur loved ones..

Its not really an Answer but I still felt to reply.. I very well know what u must be going through.. been there felt that :) (3yrs) and finally i got approval yesterday yay!!

The worst thing is, they never tell u the reason for rejection.. no matter what.. 2 basic issues of rejection i came to understand are Nationality & Salary.. and well like somebody said u need "Vasta" as ur particulars r in order..

BTW.. hope all ur Doc(certificates & degree) are duly attested by ur embassy and ministry of foreign affairs..

Anyways,, I wish u all the best and pray u get what u deserve...

Good Luck 2 U...

check you id card proffession if you are engineer no problem other wise change your profession in id as a engineer. other wise they did not pass the application

After reading your explanation on the total issue I strongly feel that your application went to an Officer who was not in a good mood at that time. He might have rejected many other applications on that day. Apply again and if it is not working get some 'vasta'.

Try speaking with your own country's imigration department for advice. they should be able to avise which documents you require and if, indeed there is a problem with them and or your application. Also you could speak with your employer, they may be able to shed some light.

good luck

Hi.

Guys thanx for the suggestions.

Actually i submitted the application myself and on the same day of my application submittal i got rejected. When i went to ask the reason i was given an interview date. When i went on the specified date for the interview the official asked me just three questions and the interview just lasted for one minute. He asked me my nationality, then my profession which i said Electrical engineer and them my salary which i told him is QR 10000. I had attached all my relevant documnets with the application like wife and children passports and birth certificates, NOC from my company plus salary certificate,my degree copy.

After the interview when the next day i checked the status i was rejected again. When i went to inquire about the reason the lady said she dont know why i was rejected and aske me to resubmit my whole application again after one month.

So guys what should i do as i want to bring my wife and three kids here.

Should i go to main immigration department to some head of ploice named NAsser Al Attiya

I agree with all the above comments. I have just gone through this process myself. The documents that i had to submitt were as follows:

My ID and Passport info

3months Bank statement from my account (salary account)

Company letter NOC

Marriage Cert

My wife's birth Cert

My daughter's birth Cert(has to have both mother and father named on it, i.e you and your wife)

Professional qualification cert (although not sure why as i have my RP) but there you go.

and last but not least, the accomodation contract.

It is being processed now so i guess we are just waiting...

good luck

CHECK YOUR VISA STATUS MAYBE THAT IS THE REASON WHY THE IMMIGRATION IS REJECT YOUR APPLICATION EVEN YOUR SALARY IS QUALIFIED BUT THE PROBLEM IS YOUR VISA STATUS OR YOUR CONTRACT IS SINGLE STATUS ALSO JUST CHECK IT.

There should be something missing. If it is your wife and kid/s then there should not be any problem if you are attaching all supporting documents. Re-apply with all the necessary documents and you will get it. Please do not depend only on your mandoop and make sure that all the necessary supporting documents are attached with your application.

I will be interested to know the reason of rejection. I hope you will get the visa next time when you visit personally. Please keep us updated on this forum.

My brother is bringing his wife first on visit visa then he is planning to apply for the RP. His salary QAR 10,000 and personal accommodation

Hehe, that's happen to me also, but after searching around I found out that they rejected it because I did not attached my marriage certificate, so you can re-apply again and attach it and also If you have kids attach their birth certificate and that's will do......good luck

when you say family, do you mean wife and kids? or your parents?

if it's your wife and kids, then just keep trying. i agree with the suggestion to go there yourself, so you can also explain your side.

if it's your parents, chances are, your request was rejected due to old age. don't know why old age is such a concern for granting sponsorship, but it is anyhow.

good luck 2u. just keep trying.
