Women are different from men when it comes to feelings of jealousy. Jealousy in females arises from fear of comparison, competition, and the fear of losing a mate. They tend to be jealous in a range of situations and suffer more from emotional jealousy than sexual jealousy. This is true with all women all over the world. A recent example of this was Michelle Obama's reaction when she spotted her husband taking selfies with couple of European leaders at the funeral of Nelson Mandela in December 2013. In another series of photos, Obama was seen chatting and "smiling" with Thorning-Schmidt with the president touching her on the shoulder. Michelle Obama then switched seats. Viewers who saw this, clearly felt it was the lady's first call. It appeared the president could possibly have been in a doghouse with first lady Michelle Obama!
