are you talking about 3D gaming????
i have done intensive research regarding this. and i've been talking to the nVidia 3D vision team and their most active members in their forums.
the current series of 3D tvs in the market does not support 3D vision completely. you will be playing in a very low resolution and a very low frame rate.
i bought nVidia 3D vision 2. but i wasnt able to find the right 3DTV. (actually i found it - but expensive 9k QAR)

the only TV that supports full resolution hi-def 3D gaming in the market now here in Qatar is the Samsung 7 & 8 Series.

compatible samsung 3DTV xxD7000/xxD8000 series LEDs 2011 model year.

and believe it or not all 2010 models xxCxxxx are also have full compatibility with 3D vision.

2011 models are not. DO NOT GO NEAR THEM.

3DTV Play by nVidia is not an option for a Hard Core gamer. avoid it by any means. low res. low frame rate.

LG, Sony, Sharp and any other TV brand is not fully compatible with 3D vision. AVOID THEM.

the only option i have right now is Samsung xxD7000 ... 46" 3DTV (smallest size they have) ... about QAR 9000 which is way over my budget for just a gaming monitor. as i am not planning to use it as a TV. but maybe good for u.

something else. in 3D gaming. the bigger the better. i'll say that again. THE BIGGER THE BETTER. what ever your budget is. go for it. i suggest 50" +.
