Human can sustain without eating animal(s) and so I do not see any necessity or sustenance based killing of them which otherwise is only for the pleasure of eating meat... absolute necessity seems much beyond.

Also dont get the idea of instant killing... killing anyone is an ultimate form of torture IMO whether done instantly or otherwise.
