What I meant with "Art is subjective" is that art is open to interpretations. It represents the expression of inner soul of the artist and it can be perceived by the viewer as something completely different, depending on each viewer’s.
What I meant with "so is its assessment criteria’s" is that what I just said, the criteria to interpret art are also subjective as it depends on each viewer.
What I meant with "and the last one is where we agree to disagree ;)" is that many people from more traditional and conservative backgrounds (your background), tend to think in accordance with a set of imposed rules and not from an individual perspective (my background)
As an example religion, does not allow you to think and interpret it in your own way, different from what it imposes on you as the only truth.
