I think it’s amusing that you have to pay the vet more to have your cat stay in a kennel for a week than what a Qatari would pay a nanny to look after their child.
I guess you reap what you sow when it comes to childcare. Everything that a parent, or nanny, does to a small child will resonate with them for the rest of their lives. And leaving a small child in the care of someone who hates their job and resents their employers… well, that’s just a recipe for disaster.
But fine if you value money over the welfare of your child.
