I agree with you, their small population cannot handle emigration, customs, police, and statutory bodies and at the same time "run" all these projects or at least exercise control over those who run these projects.
If their identity has been at risk, being 30% of the population, imagine when they'll become 10 or 15%?
All that overstress, will impact on the Qatari society, not sure if they are expecting and wanting it!
All that just for 1 month in 2022, and after that we'll see here in Doha, what Dubai is going through now: empty building everywhere and underutilized expensive infrastructures that will cost a fortune to maintain and will never pay the investment.
Once oil and gas will loose its current importance, Doha will not be able to afford the maintenance of all the built infrastructure and the result won’t be nice to witness ;(
I wonder if the FIFA officials have thought of anything of this! Obviously not!
