Hmm, I think this is a bit one sided...maybe for some people it is difficult.
The people I know, me included, have never relied on family for social interaction. We have friends here, as we do in any country our husband's work takes us to. And why on earth would a wife complain to her husband for his going to work? Isn't that what we are here for?
