I really don't understand this line:

I come from a country where we don't have inhumane slaves being bussed around, and we still have luxury. In fact the quality of construction of most things (shops, hotels, roads, apartments, villas etc) is better and more 'luxurious'.

Odd, considering that Qatar has so much money and still treats people in this way, whereas other poorer countries can still manage to not treat workers like animals.

As a side note, I've encountered odors in shopping malls in Doha from certain nationalities, and they weren't laborers, they were white collar men and women. To say that the reason they smell is solely due to access to hygiene is not entirely true.
