You can see the matter from many points of view. On Facebook for example I often see pics of my friends, even if these pics were not uploaded by them they have just been tagged in them.
In this case, if I were tagged, I would be bothered if some of my privacy would be lost.
But If I am the one who posts pics of myself, I don't see the point. When you subscribe Facebook os social networks you are accepting in the first place to share some of your privacy with others, especially people you never met and you never will.
