As I arrived at the pearl yesterday I was stopped in a queue of traffic at the roundabout just before the entrance to the pearl. About 5 minutes later a huge convoy of Mercedes benz and a car with qatari flags left. Then they let the traffic in.
Went to sit by the water in the pearl and had a drink, read my book. Went looking for peace and quiet. Was ruined by the irritating music the coffee stands were playing. Can't understand the need for this constant crap music they keep blaring out, or any music at all.
There was a nice display of Rolls royce's. Obviously a good day for posh cars, but not peace and quiet.
