I spent my first xmas here last year after only being here for a month. This year I am going back home to the u.k. for a month to celebrate xmas. Last year I noticed that all the shops do have a xmas feel about them with most selling xmas gifts and decorations but it is not as much as in the western world. Most of the hotels hold events. One of the ones in West Bay has a lighting of the xmas tree were they turn on the light and sing carols and have santa there for the kids. They hold all kind of events like making cookies and such. It will tell you on Q.L. near the time what is happening in Doha.
