check the contract if the contract stipulates that in case of termination, a party should give prior notice otherwise the termination is legal even that sudden.

in my case, my contract with my employer states that i am subject for 3 month probationary period. also there's a stipulation there that termination of the contract by employer will be made at anytime and employees termination will be done after the probation period.
