.... GIVING UP one's individuality is far too different from LOSING one's individuality.
what i was trying to emphasize was, when two people are in a serious relationship, whether marriage or boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, there should be a time for oneself. meaning, let the individual grow on his/her own. in that way, he/she will help the relationship grow without even trying too hard, coz, he/she is not suffocated by the relationship.
after all, as the phrase/saying goes, "I AM MY OWN PERSON".
