i beg to disagree with some comments here. if one would read the IOC official report, Doha is indeed qualified to host the games. In fact, it ranked higher than Rio de Janeiro and very close with Chicago. The only reason they clearly pointed out there is the schedule of the games which is around October compared to the IOC standard of July-Aug which is definitely impossible to happen here in the Gulf.

That is why for me Doha was robbed! Doha may not be the winner for 2016 but still i believe it shouldve been shortlisted the least...
