my wife just moved there a week ago and she said it was easy getting a credit card. she got it with her bank account(don't remember the name right now). however she has to pay charges of about 150qr a month for all the services including the credit card(they come to your office) she was given. so if you are not used to paying for the privilge, this may be a bit of a shock.
