First of all if yu want to stay more than 6 months and less than one year then renew your RP for more than a year.
Then yu can come back whithin 6 months but if planning to stay more than that , then some one in qatar has to go to Airport immigration and give your Passport copy showing all relevent pages including your last exit page from Qatar. You will get extension visa after paying Qr500/- per Passport/person. Some valid reason has to be given also. Usually its "no problem.
