Now a days rents get down alot. You just need to find it by yourself. You will see lot of empty flats with for rent banners with cell no's just contact them anytime in a day or meet with any rent agent & tell him to find a flat for you of 1-bedroom , hall & kitchen according to the rent which you can afford. They will take little commission but you will find good flat with cheap rent also.
