Yes you are right lynrendon. Staff at Labour department is so accommodating and approacheable.

The inherent right still rests on your Company as your Sponsor. You can only negotiate with them about your release and discuss to them the present living condition here in Qatar that you need to search for a better-paying job since they cannot accommodate your Salary increase. I believe that in this way, they can release you and give NOC accordingly.

If they cannot give you a release or an NOC even if you plead, you can appeal to Labor Department citing your 7 years of honest hardworking with the Company and from that, the Labor can request your Company to release you to work with another Company.
