I'd be impressed if you could even find an iPhone that isn't an imported hacked one here in Doha. Not that I'm saying anything is wrong with a hacked phone, per se, but a hacked phone is no longer covered by Apple for repairs. Just some food for thought.
As for a Wii, it kind of depends on what you want in a Wii. Basic package I've seen for under 1000 QR. But, there are all kinds of packages depending on one's gaming likes, that is, Wii Sports has a floor mat and other semi-specialized controllers for Sports games. Wii Combat has a sword and shield for Hack and Slash games like Zelda. And, then there is the second Combat package for shooting games. There are also several music and dance packages. So, it all depends on what you want to do beyond the basic system. A final thing you should consider is which region you are buying the system for, that is, games encoded for Europe won't work in an American Wii or vice versa, the same applies to games and systems made for Asia. I've seen both the North American and European systems and games sold here. All that being said one can hack the game system can make it a regionless one, but then as with the iPhone, it is no longer under warrenty.
