normaly family visit is for 6 month.it can be transfer to rp and hope you may had tried it.now it can be extend if you have some very strong extra ordinary reason.you have to go to rp chief and explain reason.if he agree he may extend(very rare,but some times it works)otherwise single day delay sparks penalty(!)
