You could consider this as the first approach between the company and the applicant (you). They will ask you a series of questions and check your backgrounds as they appear in the CV you submitted. These procedures are all standard (so far) and the results will come after that first impression.

Be advised that "maybe" after they call you and if they are interested in having you to work for them, your info could be handed over to a recruitment agency since all that is done as outsourcing svc.

Than the headhunter will contact you either by phone or email and then the real deal starts. Phone calls, emails eve face to face interviews (yes again) and then wait for results. Once you are "selected" you will be notified immediately and then all paperwork (offer, benefits, position, etc) will be done.
