If you're lacking growth hormone, for example, I believe it is possible to rectify this problem with a synthetic substitute that may increase height but I believe it may be too late at your age. More radically, patients have undergone surgery to lengthen the long bones in their legs. Some celebrities resort to wearing internally built-up shoes to "increase" their height temporarily. If either or both of your parents are short in stature, then it's likely that you are predisposed to being short, along with your siblings and your future offspring.
I guess it's easier being a short woman, we just wear staggeringly high stilettos to boost our height and no-one notices until we take them off!
