i ended taking up photography seriously when my first baby was born, i started taking pictures when she was less than 1 day old.
She is over 2 1/2 years now, and i can tell you already, those pictures are an out of body experience when I look at them now.
With my second son, a better camera, and a steady foot in the delivery room :) , i was firing my camera away when he was probably less than 1 minute old... he's almost 8 months now. it's happening all over again.
trust me, freezing that special moment in time, that's something you don't know you're missing till you start taking pictures, and then you know what you have been missing!
