Hi everyone, I wanted to ask you if I can take a 40 inch LED TV to India without effecting any duty on it? Does anyone have any idea up to what size we could take without any duty?

Just take it with you under your arm like all the other 100 or so i see everytime i go to the airport to check in ONE bag, whilst waiting for the TVs to clog up the conveyer belts, dont forget to also take 2 or 3 heavy blankets, and pots and pans as well, then we can all wait that bit longer while you look dismayed that you have exceeded your baggage allowance and that its not fair etc etc

Why would you want to take a tv with you? From doha should not be a problem, but maybe in your country at arrival, you should find out there.

up to 32 inches no problem no duty, 40" you have to pay around 3500 to 5000 rs ... but its worthy as in all cases LCD / LED are priced very high in india ...
