Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, and optimizing mechanical systems related to the production of resins and related materials. You will collaborate with the Production Team to ensure efficiency and safety in the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience working in a Mechanical Engineering role within the resin, chemicals, polymer, pharma or any chemical industries.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and processes equipment used in resin manufacturing, including vessels, tanks, pumps, compressors and heating/cooling systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc.) will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, material handling, and automation in resin production.
• Experience with Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and troubleshooting mechanical issues in production environments.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the resin and chemical industries.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Knowledge of chemical processing or batch operations.
• Knowledge on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
• Familiarity with PLC systems, instrumentation and automation in industrial settings.
• Strong project management skills with experience in leading an Engineering Team.
