QATAR WELCOMES HAYYA CARD GUESTS ONCE AGAIN IN 2023
The MOI announced that the Hayya Card for fans and organisers has been extended until January 24th, 2024. As a Qatar resident, what will you need to consider if they stay at your home?
In a Tweet from January 30th, 2022, the Ministry of Interior set out guidelines for card holders to come back to Qatar under specific conditions. Check the Tweet here
So what do you need to do if you are welcoming friends and family back to Qatar this year?
There are many issues to consider and these will depend on factors such as the number of bedrooms you have; the amount of space in your home; the amenities available in your building or compound and the distance from your home to public transport or the Metro.
If your guests will stay for a long time, it might be an idea to move to a home that has more bedrooms.

Perhaps with the arrival of guests, more amenities are needed to keep your guests entertained. Joining a gym or going to a hotel or resort might not be something that everyone can do regularly over a sustained period of time.

Being able to move into a new home is not a feasible option for everyone. It might be a better idea for your guests to stay at a hotel residence where they will have many of the amenities mentioned. Hotel residences also come with lots of in-house services such as cleaning, room service, 24 hour security and concierge.

Before your guests travel back to Qatar, it is important they read all of the guidance from the Ministry of Interior. For further details, check another of their Tweets here
