Potential discussion - guidance re expected salary
Hello everyone, Salam & Ahlan Qatar!
I have initial discussions with HR and an interview with hiring manager. They did ask me expected salary, and I am holding onto that question. I think it is about time, hence I need your guidance, advice.
Potentially, I am looking at Manager and above role. Currently based in Canada, but previously worked in UAE and Qatar. My specialization is Audit, Finance, Tax, Assurance, Accounting. It would be a family move. Please enlighten me on the schooling part as well.

Some more insights: Just to clarify - I am still at pre-offer stage and have not yet disclosed my current salary, which often is a starting point.
Yet, I first want to understand what is the current salary trend, where things are heading and how cost of living is tracking against the recent surge in demand in backdrop of the world cup. I would imagine the cost of living will stabilize post world cup. Appreciate your thoughts.
