Look Out for the Exciting Qatar National Day 2021 Activities and Events happening near you!
The Organising Committee of Qatar National Day (QND) celebrations has announced plenty of activities across Qatar on the occasion of National Day on the 18th of December 2021. From the 14th to the 18th of December many significant activities & events will be held at several locations, including Al Wakrah, Aspire Park, and the Pearl, Qatar. Listed below are activities and events that would be happening around the place of your residence.
The Pearl, Qatar
The Pearl-Qatar has always been a hotspot for recreational and leisure activities. With its variety of exceptional indoor and outdoor locations, The Pearl is all set for QND 2021 celebrations. Qanat Quartier is where visitors will be able to enjoy a live screening of the FIFA Arab Cup 2021 Final in comfortable seatings. Also, live screening of the activities like cultural dances will be available on giant screens at the same locations where they will be held.
Aspire Park and the Torch Hotel - Al Waab, Al Azizyah
If you live in Al Waab, Al Aziziyah, or Muither, you will be able to enjoy a series of activities and competitions at the Aspire Park from 14th to 18th of December. Some of the activities will introduce visitors to Qatari customs and traditions and the competitions will feature Qatari traditional games with exciting prizes.
The most significant festival is the 2nd edition of the Qatar Balloon Festival where 40 balloons from all around the world are participating, including Qatar's very own Asfary.

Participant Age: Minimum 8 years old. Anyone below 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Also, not to miss, the Torch Hotel Doha will illuminate the sky for more than 10 minutes, with the Torch Fireworks Event.

Souq Al Wakrah
If you live in Al Wakrah or Wukair, Al Wakrah Old Souq will host activities and competitions, including the folk games, from December 14th to 18th, 2021. Visitors are also welcome to see the establishment of ‘Al Fereej Museum’, which contains a collection of models that express ancient folk games, ancient ships, and handicrafts at Al Wakrah Souq.
In the above-mentioned activities, children will also be able to make drawings and color plant pots in addition to free drawing under the QND slogan. A riding competition will also be held at Al Wakrah Souq where daily prizes will be distributed to participants, in addition to a final competition that will be held on December 18 for the winners of the daily competitions.
Apart from the above-mentioned activities, many more activities will be also held to celebrate QND 2021. If you live near the Corniche be prepared for an exciting show of cars bearing the Qatari flags, lighting, music, and traditional dances by the locals, to add the beauty and the spirit of Qatar National Day.
