Buying Land Cruiser (new) form non official Toyota
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience buying a new Land Cruiser (LC300), or any vehicle at that, from some of the non Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros. Co. (official Toyota) Toyota dealers around.
Diar Al Azz, Al Mutamad all seem to have plenty of vehicles which all have official Toyota Qatar warranties (imported from GCC or directly from here), but are there any issues with buying from them?
Wondering if anyone has any experience or recommendations... Safe or stay away?
Cheers,
Thanks for the comments all!
Oh, just to add, the other suppliers, would have their vehicles in stock so the month would be much earlier in the year.
AAB vehicle move really fast, by the time I got bank approval the Serial No. changed 3 times.
From Personal experience, go with AAB.
My car at the time of purchase was a lot less with a similar supplier who are bringing them from GCC.
However, when I checked with AAB, AAB were providing some accessories which they said was made compulsory (Standard) by the MOI. Also, year of Manufacturer is very important.
Suggest you buy directly from the dealers in Qatar rather than go for other sellers. You may save couple of thousand by staying away from the dealer but is worth taking the chance? A dealer provides you a solid backing which others may not.
