Is this a good offer?
Hello there,
I received a job offer for a private company as a senior service staff (not manager) with a total salary of QR24,000 per month (6,600 basic salary, 15,000 Exceptional allowance, 2,000 nature of work allowance and 400 mobile allowance).
In addition to the above, the company offer transportation, and housing (incl.bills), 45 holidays each year. I will be alone, my family is not moving with me.
I don't have oversea working experience, maybe narrow minded. May I please have your honest opinions whether this is a good offer in Qatar job market? Is there anything else I should consider?
Thank you very much.
What did you decide to do?
glb, We should not delay even the slightest while staring a life changing journey.
In my case I will not take the 2nd breath if there is a such a job offer waiting for me ......
JJ, You are lucky already. Be in touch with the HR / Company contacts for the updates. I am so sure you will be here before the others considering your sponsor / business.
Plan the car you will be buying after reaching here.
Put your money in the Mutual Funds back home , earn more and save more but spend less while in Qatar.
Keep smiling ...... Joys for you .......... !!!
Thank you Goodlittleboy and Monlten. I read a lot about Qatar, I believe what you say is right, and I will enjoy work and live there. To land in 3 days, yes it is possible, only if I get the entry visa first. I read that one can wait for a very long time to get the entry visa. Do you know how long will it take to get an entry visa under the current situation?
Thank you very much.
Molten: Why within "3 days"? What if cannot make it here within "3 days"? Can he come here in 3 weeks or 3 months?
JJ, Land within 3 days ..... It is the best place on the planet for working and living, you will stay here for 3 decades , my guaranty ..... You may leave after 2 decades if somebody calls back tp your home place ......
Just grab the offer.
If you live a normal lifestyle, you will get to spend around QR 2000 per month on your food, petrol. miscellaneous expenses etc. The rest should be in your pocket.
