FBQ Museum launches second exhibition under “Artists in the time of COVID-19” series
Building on the success of the first part of the "Artists in the Time of COVID-19" exhibition, Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani (FBQ) Museum has taken the wraps off the second part of the three-part exhibit at The White Majlis.
The FBQ Museum had kickstarted its big community project back in April, calling on artists in Qatar to submit artworks that convey their feelings during the COVID-19 pandemic creatively.
Throughout the last couple of months, FBQ Museum received an impressive variety of artworks by Qatar’s creative community where artists created pieces depicting their feelings during the pandemic.
The three-month exhibition is being held at the FBQ Museum’s contemporary art space, The White Majlis - where art lovers and museum visitors can elevate their tour with an exceptional experience and inspiring pieces of art.
While the first exhibition recently ended on October 3, the second exhibition opened its doors to the public on October 9, 2020.
This second exhibition will run until November 7, 2020, and the final exhibition will be on from November 13 onwards.
All exhibitions will feature paintings, videos, prints, photographs, collage art, and sculptures. The exhibition will also see a space dedicated to young artists.
The exhibitions will be open during regular museum opening hours.
For admission hours and fees, visit www.fbqmuseum.org.
