Busines visa extension

Hi Experts, This is Neelima who’s currently working in Qatar on a business visa from last few months and yesterday my employer told me that Qatar government has stopped the business visa extensions from this month and they’ll not extend my visa further. My visa is valid till 22/07/2020 and my employer asked me register for repatriation flight to India. Can anyone of you please let me know if this is correct and anyone in the same situation like me? Please help. Thanks

I have a friend who's here from India on a business visa. He was advised to do the same when it expired last month.
