Attesting international UK degree

I am trying attest my UK degree in order to get the residency permit. I have read that it needs to be attested by qatar embassy in London before bringing it to qatar and attesting at the Ministry of external affairs in qatar.

However the problem is that location of study for my degree was not the UK. Since I studied at an international campus (in Lebanon) of a UK university.

So my degree is British from a UK university, but the location of study is not in the UK. And from what I read online, the qatar embassy in London will not attest degrees with a location of study outside the UK.

did anybody come across this issue before and is there any resolution for it? I'm not why such restrictions are enforced in qatar because the degree can be used all around the world.
