Private clinics are good and they have very qualified doctors available. Try consulting a doctor at Naeem Al Rabeeh Medical Centre on C Ring Road opposite Gulf Times. Hamad Hopsital is no doubt good but from what I hear, the waiting time before you get to see a doctor is just too long. A colleague who had suffered a heart attack and recovered had to visit Hamad Hospital monthly for a regular checkup. He took the day off for this on the day of his appointment with the doctor.
