QID cancellation

I have one of my friend,he was working in one company more than 1 year.He got a good offer in another company and he resign with a notice period of 1 month.After that when we ask about when QID will be cancel to company’s PRO,he said when you will reach to airport we will cancel but unfortunately ID is still valid until yet and he came back to Qatar after 1 month for the purpose of ID to be cancel but previous company didn’t want to cancel his ID still and his date of expiry of Qid is in december and contract is unlimited ..please advice

1)How we will cancel it?

2)Do company can make problem for him as he came back to cancel his ID?

The cancellation of the QID can be done only by the company itself. Since his QID is still valid, he is under the same sponsor. There should not be any problems from his company.
