As per the last information that appeared at QL several weeks back, there will be no further extension after 1 month for Indians and Pakistanis who are "On Arrival Visa." Suggest, you reconfirm with the passport & immigration authorities.
Just overlook the comment by the "philosopher" at QL who posts just for the sake of posting and misguiding people and gets some form of pleasure in doing so. This has been going on for several years now.
Yes, It is possible. But let the visitor go back after spending 1 month. Let her manage the home , kids n elders there also.
