Exit permit

Am leaving Qatar for good and my company is taking care of my procedures . i saw today my RP was cancelled , i was wondering whether i will need an exit permit to leave the country . Am a bit confused . Thank you

Thanks Guys for your replies . yes i got back with news and also i found out , Upon expiry of the residence permit of the expatriate, one must renew it within a period not exceeding (90) days. In case of violation to this, to be fined 10 riyals per day and with the maximum limit of 6000 riyals. My PRO issued my exit visa and my visa was cancelled as part of the procedures to leave the country for permanently

Suggest, you talk to your HR people and the PRO of your company and they should guide you best. I believe there is a penalty on overstay.

No you don't. But you can't stay there too long. For me I could stay 1 month as per rules between my country and Qatar
