Dear Friends,

It's my first year in Qatar so I'm still new to everything.

I need to plan a trip back to home during Eid Al Adha holidays in August. For that I need to give my leave plan for August in advance.

I was told that exact date of Eid Al Adha is not fixed and depends on moon sight. I also heard heard its roughly 70 days from Eid Al Fitr.

Can anyone please tell me 'roughly' when will be the date of Eid Al Adha ? I googled and some says it will be 21st and some says 22nd... will it be any of these two days or some other day?

Thank you

Around 70 days from today. As such it should be either on 24 August or 25 August depending on the sighting of the moon. You can plan your leave accordingly.

A piece of advice: Once you apply for leave and get it approved, you should also immediately go for your ticket as there is usually a heavy booking during these holidays and tickets tend to get a bit costlier let along getting one easily.
