Can I bring LCD TV from India to Qatar - need to know process

Have any one brought used LCD TV from India to Doha...thru Qatar Airways? If yes what is the process at both airports and excise duty rules etc...

Check with Qatar customs cause in India if you bring electronics they do charge you at customs for sure. My father got charged. However in Qatar most likely not is the case. But call before flying out to make sure you have done your research accordingly.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I know it's unusual but as per this logic even in India each and every nook and corner has the availability. And moreover if every one is doing doesn't mean that I will also follow. I have my own priorities. Anyways thanks.

This would be something unusual. While this item is available in Qatar in almost all internationally famous brands, one fails to understand why you would want to bring one from India. On the other hand, people going to India take TV sets from here and there been several queries at QL on rules in India regarding this.
