Advise on where to take a rented house

Dear Reader,

I am staying in Al Hilal and my new job is in West Bay. I cannot afford rent in WB and the taxi cost from Al Hilal to WB is too much. My spouse's job is in Industrial Area. I am thinking of renting a house near Bank Street, Gold Souq, or Najma area so that the rent is affordable and with the distance to WB decreased, my taxi fare cost goes down. But i do not know much about these areas. Could you please advise me areas/localities which will be good to rent in my situation. Price range 3000-4000. Preferrable 1BHK in Apartment.
