Where to live to socialise better

Hi,

I'm from pakistan, living in wakarah with my husband and a 3 year old child. We have a serious problem of socialising here. We want to shift from building to some compound basically for our child. He needs to make friends and have more activity outdoors which I can't do for him living in this place. People are not really Into socialising within the building. Most of them have multiple childern so they don't have issues to find playmate for them. My child doesn't have a sibling yet and is also not ready for nursary or school.

Please advice some compound in wakarah where there would be more space for outdoor play and more interactive community life among neighbours.

Morane, There is simplicity, there is honesty in the residents living in the Ezdan Wakra.

@Molten Metal, Its true. And i live in Wakra even though my office is located at B-Ring Road. Wakra is never far from anywhere. I cant say the same about Wukair and Ezdan compounds though. I personally dont like Ezdan compounds because of their location and it feels to me like Refugee camp. No offense to anyone living in there as long as they like it. But, for me i have always lived in Wakra with my family and never felt like alienated from community or fun.

Wakra is like a heaven on the earth if you ask me. This place is really blessed for everything, be it home or work or life, you will be happy & satisfied from all the angles. That's true.

1. Ezdan Compound, try looking for more Pakistani or Indian neighbors who speak Urdu. Because, in South Indian community you will face language issues and your child will also feel alienated.

2. Look for new Apartment Buildings behind Al Midyaf Bakery, there are many Pakistani families living there. I happen to be in one of them and we have a big compound where children play all the time. Also, number of Pakistani families live in our Apartment building. Mostly from Qafco. Also, the location is near to the main Wakra Market, I have 2 daughters and they rarely sit inside home because we have a ground floor apartment with window facing the compound. You should look for something similar. We are Indian (urdu speaking) and there are many in our Apartment building with Hindi/Urdu language as primary.

3. Never go into a villa.

Suggest you try shifting to Ezdan Village which has several residential blocks in Wakra. Hopefully, you may find a more socializing environment there.
