Child Vaccination (part II)
I’ve asked before about child vaccinations on this forum but I realised I haven’t asked enough. Here it goes:
1) Do you need to call for an appointment or can you walk-in?
If so, what day and time? I really can’t afford to go to the hospital only to be told to come another day/time.
2) Is it still free of charge for those on visit visa?
3) Should I go to wakra or mesaimeer health centre?
Anything else I should know regarding a 4month-child vaccine? Please let me knw! Thanks.
Hi guys, I’ll share with you my experience of getting my son vaccinated.
Go to Mesaimeer Health Center and show your passport (if youre on visa), or QID if you have one. They’ll give you an appointment date and time, which also gives a notification via sms too. Apparently you have to walk-in to book an appointment, not thru the phone. Show up on the date and walla! Youre done. Vaccines are free. As a matter of fact, other countries I’ve been to, they give free vaccinations at their health centers.
go to wakra health centre.. get appointment they may inject if it near or they l give date
