Can a Husband who is on dependent family visa apply for driver's license?

Hello,
I am a woman and my husband would come on my sponsorship. I would like to know if he can apply for car driving class and license? Or is it necessary that he has his own work visa for it? Any advise will be appreciated.

It is necessary for him to have his own work visa and a Qatar ID to enable him to get a driving license. The obtaining of a driving license also depends on the type of work visa he has as some categories of work visas are not eligible to get driving license.

Wife Can't Sponsor Husband
He can start driving classes without an RP but if he passes then the Original DL can be obtained only with a valid RP.
You better call 4451 6353; Al Khebra Driving school or any other driving schools.
As he is in your dependent visa not much formalities required.

He should have his own Residence Permit first! without it, he can never get a permanent driving license
