Is NOC necessary still to switch the job
I am working in Qatar since last 5 months on Engineer visa. My contract is unlimited. I have resigned from the company with one month contract period. I got a new job offer, they are asking for the NOC which my current company is not giving.
Please advice if I will go on exit, can I come back on new company without NOC.
or can I get free visa and can it be transferred to new company immediately.
As of now no NOC are required if your new employer is recruiting you directly from your home country. Hence you can cancel and go back to home country before your new employer applies your visa.
But I heard this will change within the next few months, that if you even go out of country before completing the contract period you might need NOC to come back to Qatar with new employer and also you cannot come back to your competitor company.
