Prices of petrol and diesel set to increase again in February
The residents of Qatar will need to shell out even more for petrol and diesel during the month of February.
Keeping with the trend of increasing fuel prices around the globe, the Ministry of Energy and Industry announced that the price of Premium petrol will be QR1.55 per litre, up from QR1.50 last month.
Similarly, the price of Super petrol has been hiked by 10 dirhams, to QR1.65 (from QR1.55).
The price of diesel was increased for the second time in as many months, to QR1.50. It had earlier been QR1.45. The price of diesel had remained unchanged for seven months, from June to December, 2016, before being increased for the first time last month.
This is sure to affect prices of commodities and the cost of living may go up further. Are you concerned with the price rise?

It was the best part of Qatar to fill the tank up and drive around, even thought it was the same place over and over again. Now we dont go out often and fill half tank only.The charm is going down.
