Prices of petrol and diesel to go up in January

Keeping with the trend of increasing fuel prices around the world, people in qatar will need to shell out more money for fuel in January.

The ministry of energy has increased prices of premium petrol to QR1.50, from QR1.45 in December.
Similarly, the prices of super petrol had gone up to QR1.55, up from QR1.50 a month earlier.
Interestingly, the ministry has also decided to hike the prices of diesel for the first time to QR1.45. It has consistently remained at QR1.40 ever since the prices started to be decided on a monthly basis.
