rights of tenants
hi guyz i need an advice I'm renting the flat and my contract is finished the problem is somebody rented the flat and they don't want to vacate and even they don't want to pay the rent of flat because the rent is 4200 and i give them only 3200 i lost 1000 better to pay all because before my sister here and we share the rent but when she cancelled i cannot pay my problem is the contract is under my name and i have to vacate the flat and return the key but they change the door lock and i couldn't open the door. my question is do i have rights to break the door or it is the owner responsibility since my contract is finished.

Nat, As you said, the situation is changed now, better you remain out, find a place with a kind fellow worker from your country on sharing basis. Leave the 1000, you can earn enough money in your life, this is not end of the world. We face losses in our life on some occasions to cruel people. It is very difficult to comment on your issue because of your poor English as I found it difficult to understand the issue. However, one thing is for sure. If you break the lock of anyone's apartment, it then becomes a legal issue that the occupant can report the matter to the police. That would put you into a lot of trouble.
