Indian ambassador promises to make embassy services more efficient
If you are an Indian with some need, or wanted to visit the country for some reason, you would have to go to the Indian Embassy in Doha to get your paperwork done.
And if you have been to the Indian Embassy at least once, you would have come away thinking how crowded it was. India’s newly appointed Ambassador to Qatar Periyaswamy Kumaran has promised to tackle the issue head on.
“We’re considering options to provide most consular services in a centrally located place, as well as in Al Khor and Industrial Area. The intention is to benefit more people without them having to come to the embassy for receiving the services,” he was quoted as saying by the Gulf Times.
He was addressing a meeting of representatives of various Indian forums affiliated to the Indian Cultural Centre in his first interaction with the community.
Another grievance that came up was the lack of opportunities for affordable higher education for Indian children. In reply, the ambassador promised to look into facilitating the entry of some well-known higher educational institutions from India to Qatar.
do it simple and easier, please develop online portal or android & IOs apps to make it most of the services simple and more efficient.
thanks
