Qatar's Burgeri opens in London!
Following the success of their first Qatari cafe in London, Karak and Chapati, Aspire Katara Hospitality have just opened the popular Qatari burger joint, Burgeri, in London, the place that is now known as the culinary capital of the world. On Monday 12th September, the day millions of Muslims celebrated Eid al Adha, Burgeri opened its doors to the public. Despite it being their soft launch the restaurant has been attracting a number of Arabs and locals. In continuing to expand in London, AKH aims to grow within the culinary industry and reach out to a wider audience as well continue to serve their regulars at their vacation hotspot.
The owners have done an outstanding job in replicating the Burgeri experience. The food tastes outstandingly the same as it does in Doha and the price is more or less identical. Burgeri have tweaked their menu by adding a date pudding with black tahini ice cream. This sounded rather peculiar at first but once I tried it I understood why these traditional flavours worked so well with each other.
Burgeri London isn't a huge restaurant but nonetheless is situated in the heart of London, in the shopping district where millions visit on a daily basis. The staff were really efficient and friendly and the service was exceptional! In addition the restaurant has terrific opening hours; 11am -11pm which is convenient for all the tourists in the area.
For those that travel to London from Doha on a regular basis must keep their eyes peeled as AKH plan a further expansion in the near future, bringing the likes of Sukar Pasha and L'wzaar to London.
Tasty .. Will try next time I am in London
